can anybody send me videos of car surfing.please:)?
its were you ride on top of the car wile its in drive and nowon is gassing it just steering.
No. This is illegal and stupid.
Best big wave rider in history?
So many good big wave riders but who is the best!? You got the likes of Laird Hamilton, Eddy Aikau, Derek Ho, Occy, Sunny Garcia. Makua Rothman, Bruce Irons, Mark Foo, Pancho Sullivan, Ross Clarke-Jones. I could go on and on. Plus you got Mike Stewart who also rides big waves but of course thats bodyboarding. Kainoa Mcgee also a bodyboarder drop knee a 20 foot wave at Maui Jaws on the island of Maui. Choose a big wave surfer or big wave bodyboarder don’t matter just you pick who is the best big wave rider. My personal pick is Bruce Irons. I have never seen anybody surf Waimea better than Bruce. So your pick and why you think this person is the best.
Greg Noll. Hellofa guy and a pioneer of big wave riding at waimea among others. legend has it that he paddled into the biggest wave (not including tow) ever out at kaena point.
How do I remove a Traction Pad on my Surfboard?
The Traction Pad on my surfboard is crappy, and the back panel, where it is raised is ripped off. I want to completely take off my current traction pad and buy a new one. But I heard it was hard, and you needed alot of work to take off all the leftover glue so your new pad will stick.
If it is already peeling off try using a hair dryer to heat the exposed edge of the adhesive as you pull on the pad. If it isn’t peeling already use a razor scraper to start one corner.
After you get the pad off you can use acetone as HB suggested or simply take a couple of paper towels and lay them over the glue and soak them with Goo-B-Gone and let it soak for a few minutes. The glue will come up pretty easy after that.
What are sine waves and why can humans only hears some and not others?
What are some of the waves humans can’t hear and some that they can?
Yes. It may be sound waves.
What are a few example of ones that cannot be heard by the human ear?
Maybe you mean "sound" waves. Sine waves are the mathematical expression of all sorts of harmonic motion in nature.
We can only hear sounds (sound waves) that are within the frequency range that our ears are sensative to. Just as our eyes can only see light ( light waves) that are within the frequency that they are sensative to.
Typical hearing would be between 30 Hz and 15000Hz, more when you are younger and less as we age.
How do you pull into a barrel when surfing?
I have been surfing now for about 6 years and comfortable in head high waves however am yet to get barrelled. I was wondering how easy it is to pull in to the green room and any tips when you are inside!!
Technical surfing questions usually get butchered in this site, because its hard to verbalize the steps necessary to accomplish a given maneuver.
First of all, you need a barrel. getting really tubed depends as much on the wave as it does on the surfer. If you get the right conditions, you have to slow down and make a clean line across the face of the wave. That’s easier riding forward than it is riding backside, but it can be done either way. Slowing down enough, and staying far enough away from the shoulder are key. However, there is no way I can TELL you how to do that. You have to be in the water and feeling it for yourself.
A Look at Scuba Wet Suits
Scuba wet suits were not taken seriously until World War II and
the advent of Navy Frogmen (SEALs) who became one of America’s
most effective weapons of the war. On any kind of measurable
basis, costs of operations versus costs of effectiveness,
man-to-man, or overall kill ratios, the SEALs exceeded
expectations on any level. Once recognized, the military put a
much time and money into improving the effectiveness of its
frogmen. That meant improving the design, effectiveness and
durability of wet suits.
There is a controversy that developed at the time over whether
or not wet suits had to remain dry. Sounds like a set up for a
joke but it’s not. All underwater, rubberized protective outfits
are called wetsuits. The controversy was over whether heat loss
from the diver’s body could be controlled better if the wetsuit
kept his skin dry or not. It was Hugh Bradner who is credited
with the first wet suit in 1952. Mr. Bradner was actually
working as a physicist at UC Berkeley’s radiation laboratory
where he was testing the reflections of shock waves on
unicellular material and was invited to attend a Swimmer’s
Symposium. His concept was that the diver’s skin does not have
to stay dry to prevent heat loss if the thermal insulation used
in the wet suit was obtained by air entrapped in the material of
the suit.
With the French invention of the Aqua-Lung, Self Contained
Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) was used in the war and
afterwards spawned investigative teams exploring the ocean’s
many mysteries. As soon as this began, the pressing need for
wetsuits was made painfully obvious by the divers suffering from
hypothermia after only a few dives. The divers tried everything
from greased long johns to leftover Air Force survival suits,
and the Bradner wet suit. Bradner was the first to use a
unicellular material similar to the type he was working with in
the radiation laboratory in his wet suit. The material came from
a company called Rubatex and was called Neoprene and the
original model for today’s high-tech, three-level wet suit was
born

Nokia N-series N96 Launched by T-mobile – N96 Tmobile Nokia Phone
T-Mobile are the sixth mobile phones network to release the new N96 from the Nokia N-Series, this full multimedia handset was first launched on O2 and Orange before being made available as a SIM free device and more recently joining Vodafone and the dedicated 3G network 3 Mobile.
This is one of the fastest handset rollouts this year mainly due to the hype surrounding the launch of this new top end mobile phone it is not surprising that retailers and networks wanted to have this extremely sought after device in their product portfolio as soon a physically possible.
With this in mind the Nokia N96 now has a multitude of tariffs, packages and deals from all the networks making it far easier to match a consumers usage requirements, all of the networks offer different tariffs with varying free inclusive minutes and text messages along with scaled line rental charges.
The Nokia N series range of mobile phones just gets better and better, with the slimmer, big-screened Nokia N96. With a massive 16GB memory and a microSD slot to extend that even more, you’ll have room to store all your music, photos and videos. The Nokia N96 has got everything you need for music – an MP3 player, FM radio, stereo speakers and more music to download from Mobile Jukebox. The 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus will give you camera-quality pictures.
The 2.8 inch screen with 16 million colours promises a superb viewing experience, whether you’re viewing your photos and videos, watching Mobile TV or surfing the internet. The Nokia N96 is HSDPA enabled, giving you super fast internet speeds for browsing the web or checking your emails, and you can use it as a modem for mobile broadband on your laptop.
There is only one payment scheme left and one network left to pick up the new Nokia N96, these being the pay as you go scheme and the Virgin Mobile network, seeing as T-Mobile now have the phone on their books and Virgin being a virtual network of T-Mobile it will only be a matter of time before they too launch this high specification handset.
It looks as thought the retailers will be holding off on releasing the N96 as a pay as you go ‘Prepay’ mobile phone, in no small part due to the profit margins being far greater from consumers taking up contract packages, however for those people that struggle to pass a network credit check or who prefer the prepay system the wait should not be too long.

Increase Website Traffic a Variety of Ways
You have to increase website traffic once you have set up your online presence for your business. Even if you’ve had your website professionally designed and you are selling a great product or service, you can’t succeed without high traffic and unique visitors. Sitting back and waiting for it to happen won’t work.
To increase website traffic you’ll have to achieve a few key goals. Getting ranked fairly high in the major search engines, develop links to a number of relevant sites that can lead to your site, and develop recognition of your company’s expertise. These three goals sound fairly straightforward, but can become complex when you consider how many other Internet sites are started every day that are attempting to achieve the same results.
Search Engines Are A Great Way to Increase Website Traffic
Ranking well in the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, etc., is a fiercely competitive undertaking. Simply submitting your site will achieve next to nothing. Your website should have keyword rich Meta tags, page titles and information that will be recognized by the search engines when people are looking for information on your types of products and services.
For the best results, each page of your website should focus on a particular topic of interest to potential customers. Spreading yourself too thin (using many keywords just one or two times each rather than focusing on good content about one keyword or phrase on each page) will drop you in the search engine rankings.
Linking the Right Way
Links to other sites with links back to your own site is a good way to increase website traffic. The key to success with this is selective linking. If your website is for surfing gear, linking to a toy store will do very little for either of you. Linking to boat rentals, restaurants and coastal vacation providers, however, can get you great click-through results.
Your links don’t have to be huge banner ads, either. Relevance is more important than size and flash, especially since the words will again impact your search engine rankings. Don’t forget about clubs and blogs about surfing and online stores that carry scuba and even fishing gear. Think about peripheral links and be creative.
Toot Your Own Horn
If you have your own business it means you’re an expert in something. Let’s go back to the surfing example. Write a few articles about surfing; these can be informational (Top Ten West Coast Spots for Early Morning waves) or narrative (My Latest Tahiti Adventure). Submitting these articles to surfing webs, forums and online clubs will get your name, and your company’s name out there. In the author’s profile you can include a link to your website.
Your articles should also include linking text that will take readers to different pages on your website. These can generate traffic to very specific products or services if placed correctly.
Search Engine Optimization
Everyone has heard the term SEO at some point, but search engine optimization is a difficult and refined style of writing that requires a lot of up-front research. Each article you write, whether included on your own website to provide customers with added value or posted on other sites for linking purposes, should be optimized with certain keywords designed to increase website traffic.
To determine which keywords will work best for you, take the time to research which words and phrases are most often searched for in relation to your products and services. If you can, choose a few and write different articles for each phrase, with each article focusing on a different aspect.
Calling in the Pros
Of course, developing your own Internet-based business can be very time consuming. If this is the case for you, it may be time to call in the professionals. There are excellent companies that focus specifically on how to help you get the most from all of the techniques outlined here. They can do the research, set up links and even provide professional writers to submit articles for you. They will help you increase website traffic for your site while you stick to what you know best, which is running your company.
