Not only are the waves and the time you put into surfing important but what you do to condition yourself out of the water can help too.

Whenever I’m out of the water due to lack of surf or I feel my skills dropping a bit I hop on my balance board to keep my legs in shape my reflexes and timing in sync and increase my balancing skills.

It’s hard to put a time limit on how fast you’re going to develop but using every tool can maximize your potential.

FYI, I use an Indo board:

    Good luck!

yeah you could, but i guarantee you won’t go ever day since a good percentage of the days, there are junk waves. It also just depends on how much you love the sport
