This is a surfing only version (i.e. no interviews etc) of “Powers Of Three.” Shot entirely in Ireland. The surfers are Tom Lowe, Fergal Smith and Mickey Smith in sickeningly cold, big, heavy waves. @JAWDO R u blind or just plain dumb/stupid/crazy?! Id say 1 to maybe two out of 10 of each wave that comes through that reef has a small chance to be paddled into AND made. If you didnt notice it was solid 15 ft for the last minute 30 and the water is freezing. Think about it u ignorant kook. True, paddling does show the surfers skill way more than towing, but that wave is a tow spot, nothing else-except when its 4-7 ft Fergal can paddle then for only an hour cause of the cold. Brr

@JAWDO … what? Do u see how imperfect and big those waves are? 3-5x overhead and flaw filled. Possible? Maybe on the few that hit the reef right. But as for the rest…damn near impossible. Is it just me or is it friggen obvious? I didn’t see any hahas or lols so I’m assuming that the above wasn’t some bone dry attempt at humor, just idiocy. If I’m wrong put your money where your mouth is and book a trip during one of next years big swell and prove me wrong.

sick video, sick …
sick video, sick waves .. i just wish these dudes paddled into more- dont get me wrong these guys are chargin but real skill in big waves is about positioning yourself correctly and reading what the wave is goin to do.. i just havnt seen much footage of these boys paddlin in- they always tow in -even in waves where it isnt needed.. ill get alot of negative comments about this but i dont think theres alot of skill involved with this sort of wave riding- you just gotta be fit if you up..
