how come my computer will not let me play videos or listen to songs while surfing the web? And i have dsl?

when i go to watch a video or play a song while im surfing the web it wont load up and i have DSL can u tell me what i can do to make it play those
Try installing another browser and surf using it for a while… I think that certain changes in browser settings (though unintentional) might be preventing you from watching media in curent browser
